چکیده

study these questions, in vitro cell lines with typical cytogenetic abnormalities, such as the Philadelphia chromosome, would be useful. So far, research has been hampered by lack of such cell lines derived from bone marrow. Hentel and Hirschhorn’ reported that a proportion of bone marrow-derived fibroblasts had karyotypic abnormalities identical with those in mitoses observed in the bone marrow itself. We decided to establish fibroblast cultures from cytogenetically abnormal bone marrow cells and to study their biochemical properties. It soon became apparent that only normal karyotypes occurred in our fibroblast cultures. The purpose of this paper is to report and to discuss the discrepancy between our findings and those referred to above.’

The effect of aquatic activity and alogenic bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells fortified with Platelet-Rich Plasma in treatment of Achilles tendon in rat

The aim of this study was to the effect of aquatic activity and alogenic bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells fortified with Platelet-Rich Plasma in treatment of Achilles tendon in rat.  74 Sprague-Dawley rats were selected and tendon injury was formed in 69 of them. Subsequently, these rats were randomly divided into 8 groups and 5 rats which were without any injuries were chosen as the ...

Infarct Fibroblasts Do Not Derive From Bone Marrow Lineages.

RATIONALE Myocardial infarction is a major cause of adult mortality worldwide. The origin(s) of cardiac fibroblasts that constitute the postinfarct scar remain controversial, in particular the potential contribution of bone marrow lineages to activated fibroblasts within the scar. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to establish the origin(s) of infarct fibroblasts using lineage tracing and b...

Hematopoietic Origin of Murine Lung Fibroblasts

Multiple origins, including the bone marrow, have been suggested to contribute to fibroblast populations in the lung. Using bone marrow reconstitution strategies, the present study tested the hypothesis that the bone marrow hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) gives rise to lung tissue fibroblasts in vivo. Data demonstrate that the nonadherent bone marrow fraction is enriched for CD45(+) HSC-derived c...

The origin of fibroblasts and mechanism of cardiac fibrosis.

Fibroblasts are at the heart of cardiac function and are the principal determinants of cardiac fibrosis. Nevertheless, cardiac fibroblasts remain poorly characterized in molecular terms. Evidence is evolving that the cardiac fibroblast is a highly heterogenic cell population, and that such heterogeneity is caused by the distinct origins of fibroblasts in the heart. Cardiac fibroblasts can deriv...

Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Their, Clinical Aapplication

There are two main categories for stem cells a cording to their origin: Embryonic Stem Cells and Adult Stem Cell. Mesenchymal stem cell, supporting hematopoetic stem cells in bone marrow, can regenerate tissues such as bone, cartilage, muscle, tendon and fatty tissue. These cells were recognized for the first time by Friedenstein and Petrokova who could isolate theme from rat bone marrow.Mesenc...
